Statement Regarding alpha Kappa Delta Phi’s Chapter at California State University, San Marcos

Effective September 11, 2025, the International Leadership Board of alpha Kappa Delta Phi Sorority, Inc. revoked the charter of our chapter at California State University, San Marcos (CSUSM). The decision followed violations of our risk management policies and organizational standards of conduct, including engaging in hazing, operating outside the approved new member program known as the Diamond Program, and failing to cooperate with International Leadership Board officers during the investigation process.

alpha Kappa Delta Phi has zero tolerance for hazing. The safety and well-being of our members remain our highest priority. When a chapter’s actions conflict with these principles, we have a responsibility to our members, alumnae, and campus communities to take decisive and appropriate action.

Our organization remains committed to fostering a safe and enriching sorority experience that reflects our values and integrity. We will continue to focus on supporting our active chapters and members who uphold the standards that define alpha Kappa Delta Phi.
