Rush Week is the perfect opportunity to meet sorority members and get a glimpse of Greek Life.

Membership to alpha Kappa Delta Phi is managed through a recruitment process. Every active chapter holds an open “rush” period following their university’s Student Life regulations. Generally, a chapter’s “rush week” is a time for unaffiliated women to get acquainted with sorority members, as well as to get a glimpse at Greek Life on their campus.

If you are interested in becoming a member, please visit your respective university’s unique chapter website or find out more about expansion.

Various chapter-produced rush videos, including slideshows and performances, are located on the web. alpha Kappa Delta Phi National Sorority, Inc. does not own nor is responsible for the media located on external websites.

Please take this opportunity to browse our website and learn more about our historical significance, guiding principles, and organizational news. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out to us via email.

THE PROCESS OF JOINING

The recruitment period to join alpha Kappa Delta Phi usually takes place in the beginning weeks of a semester/quarter, with costs not incurred to participate. Every chapter hosts unique events to demonstrate how they uphold the pillars of our organization. In alpha Kappa Delta Phi, we are looking for women who will uphold our pillars of sisterhood, scholastic excellence, leadership, philanthropy and Asian-Awareness. During the “rush” or “recruitment” period, your daughter will have the opportunity to interact with the sisters and receive information about our organization. It is a chance to determine if there is a mutual fit between your daughter and the alpha Kappa Delta Phi chapter. For more information on recruitment at a particular school, you can find a list of schools that have active chapters here.
