aKDPhi’s Internship Program Welcomes a Record Number of Interns This Fall

aKDPhi believes in promoting the resources and opportunities to develop self-empowered leaders. alpha Kappa Delta Phi Sorority Internship program offers sisters the opportunity to learn new skills and develop professional experience while giving back in meaningful ways to aKDPhi. Our 10 week program is designed to help members gain experiences to develop skills, build their professional resume, and network with both undergraduate and alumnae members.

Since the program's inception in 2013, our interns made huge contributions to our organization through their internship efforts, ranging from curating interview resources to planning our annual Convention to changing how our organization functions.

Program Coordinator and aKDPhi Vice President, Molly Chheath shares her pride in the interest from our members and efforts to scale the program with aKDPhi’s National Alumnae Association by stating “this Fall 2020 semester has been monumental for the Sorority Internship Program. Through our increased marketing and scaling efforts, we received an overwhelming number of applicants, and were able to extend the opportunity to more members than in years past. We are so excited to see our Fall 2020 interns’ accomplishments and growth throughout this program.”

aKDPhi welcomes a cohort of 24 incredible interns for the Fall 2020 semester. Our interns come from across all 8 regions, and across all graduating years and will focus on 6 high-impact projects, led by our International Leadership Board and wonderful alumnae volunteers.
