alpha Kappa Delta Phi Sets Up the Japan Relief & Recovery Fund
In light of the tragic events that have happened in Japan, alpha Kappa Delta Phi has set up the Japan Relief & Recovery Fund through Direct Relief International. Donations made through this fund will go directly to the Japan earthquake and tsunami relief fund. Direct Relief International is a medical assistance and disaster relief agency that sends medical aid to areas affected by emergencies. They have responded to many large-scale emergencies, including the Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami of 2004.
We urge all to join the global movement to aid the people of Japan in recovery efforts by donating what you can. With many of our own sisters currently living or with family living in Japan, it is important that we band together and take action to support those who have been affected by this disaster.
